Sponsorship / Funding Request to achieve an Indian Sporting Dream
How many times have you watched an international athletic sporting event (Olympics or an Asian Competition) and thought that, why is there no Indian who has been able to make a dent at this level and make India Proud?
I have heard & felt such statement countless number of times in my life.
I am the current Indian National Pole Vault Women Champion and have crossed a height of 4 meters at the National Competition. A 10-20% improvement to this performance would allow me to make a serious Indian dent at the international level and this is my "Indian Sporting Dream".
Based on my vaulting performance and improvement over time, I have been invited by "Dan Pfaff"* to train at the "World Athletics Center, Arizona, USA" and make this "Indian Sporting Dream" become a reality.
As all of you would know, to make a dream come true you require 3 things, effort, perseverance and some money. I am making my effort by training hard and promise to keep persevering till the dream is achieved. Where I ask your support to turn this dream into reality and be part of the success is in the money part. The training cost for an year of training in the USA is being estimated at the least to be $55,000 (INR 35 Lakhs) for which I request you to help me with sponsorship.
You could sponsoring me within your capabilities and become a part of this "Indian Sporting Dream" & its success. Please support me with your gracious contribution at the below links and I will be grateful for your help and be happy to make you a part of our dream!

Sporting Career in Brief
I cleared 4.00 metres for the first time at the 2013 Federation Cup in Patiala and went on to repeat the feat at National Inter-State Championships in Chennai. I also won gold in National Open Championships in 2013 to complete a clean sweep of the national titles in 2013. Making my international debut, I set a new high for an Indian in international meets at Asian Track & Field Championships in Pune.
I took up Pole Vault in 2009 after a successful career in Gymnastics. I am a 4-time Karnataka State Champion and won medals at national level in Gymnastics. I went on to represent India at 2007 Fit Kid World Championships in Malaysia, finishing 12th. |
Future PlansI have decided to put her medical career on hold to target international medals in Pole Vault. I am keen to win medals in India colours at Asian, Commonwealth and World level on the way to 2016 Olympics in Rio. As the first step, I undertook a thorough analysis of my performances to identify what is required for me to step up to the next level and compete for medals on the World stage. After a thorough search, I have decided to train full time at World Athletics Center(WAC) in Phoenix, Arizona.
WAC, founded by former World and Olympic Champion John Godina, is training base for some of the best pole vaulters in the world including former World Champions Brad Walker and Steve Hooker. WAC's jumps program is overseen by Dan Pfaff, who has helped a number of talented athletes win Olympic gold. |
